Abby Chabitnoy Kerstetter-Marketing Associate
Abby completed her Masters in Fine Arts in Creative Writing, emphasis Poetry, from Colorado State University in 2016, and was a 2016 Peripheral Poets Fellow. Her thesis was a creative manuscript that combined traditional history, family history, archival documents, and storytelling to examine the impact of the Carlisle Indian School and US policy on how she and her family have experienced their Aleut heritage, and how language is capable of shaping—and reshaping—one’s experience and understanding of the world. She has a BA in Anthropology and English from Saint Vincent College in Pennsylvania, and is interested in empowering others to tell their histories and take ownership of the framework by which we navigate daily life. Abby has been working with Bubar and Hall since 2017.
